Yes part of the aesthetic theme is based on kill bill and part of atsu’s identity, they even let you pick flags based on it
There is more lore baked into the color yellow than any other in the game

Played through on new game plus, it’s cool to use all the gear and weapons, but I was definitely too generous with my rating of this game the first time round, the story and characters are kinda bland honestly

And the weapon skins are just as trash

Been playing for the past few days, game is beautiful and the combat is smooth as fukk.
Only problem is they didn't fix the enemies fukking sliding forward if you dodge too early, which is a pain in the ass on lethal cause a stiff wind will kill Atsu
