Where would he go?

San Antonio

Atlanta

New York

OKC

Are the only teams that make sense right now who have the mix of assets / salaries.

OKC doesn't and won't make this trade. They are playing the long game. And they're on pace to win 74 games and repeat.

When Giannis plays, he's an MVP candidate, when he's out, your team is fukked because you gave away too many assets.

Under current salary cap room rules, teams can no longer spend too much on a player if they are not guaranteed that he will perform for most of the season.

He's not a Kawhi type of injury prone, but it's still becoming alarming.

Will be interesting to see what team actually gambles on him.
Bucks 9 - 8 when he plays :francis:

MVP's teams aren't 9 - 8 in 17 games unless they got 2 or 3 other players hurt.

NYC could get him straight up by trading towns. not sure if the bucks go for it, but if they boxed into a corner, at least they getting back an all-star.

the knicks don't really have much draft capital to add.

the spurs and hawks logically make sense since they could get back picks and decent players. but nothing the caliber of towns.

Calf Strain = Achilies meaning I'm not playing or trading for him until atleast the trade deadline in february

seems like half the league got calf strains. wemby has one. coby white is on his second one, and this time in the opposite leg. dude missed from august to nov with the first calf strain.

Eh…depends on the level of buy in. Giannis never bought in enough to just be a super saiyan PnR threat with Dame. Maybe he’d respect Luka enough to change that up.
Giannis has never been a pick and roll guy with anybody. Literally ever. Why do you think he would change his game at 32, particularly when I’m sure Giannis sees himself as better than Luka??. And we both know Luka isn’t adjusting his game for ANYONE. It’s not a buy in issue. It’s a skill issue.

They’d obviously succeed at some level just based off of talent alone, but the fit itself would be terrible. One of them would have to scale back a lot for the other.

Milwaukee needs draft capital

A swap of a league mvp for an All Star won’t move them
