Giant Sequoias, largest, oldest trees on Earth gonna burn?

i was in the SF OK area some years ago and went to a park with Sequoias.
keep in mind that these were not the Giant Sequoias which are much larger
and i was in disbelief at the enormity of these things and realizing that they
are very much alive.

the oldest one is over 3,000 years old.

this may be it for a world treasure.

why don't we call for all of the manpower our military has at it's disposal
to put these fires out? if these planes can carry bombs then they can carry water.

this is just so fukking sad.

they've already taken steps to protect them tho, clearing out all the brush around them n wrapping them in foil

i'm super environmentalist, i've even hugged the exact tree in the pic and i still wouldn't care if it burned, it's just the way of nature. they couldn't evolve fast enough to outcompete humans introducing climate change, they don't deserve to live. some other form of life can get its turn to flourish next.

i smell what you're cooking but i have a different take on it.
those trees are victims (couldn't be me) but we are also bystanders and assailants.
that complicates things. we should be taking all possible actions to protect these magnificent beings.

once they gone they gone though.
then we can shyt on them, until then we should fight for them.
