You're catching feelings...I laugh at this some random rapper, and you start insulting me personally...you're reacting right now :pachaha:

You bring up these "bangers" and how nobody is checking for Beans or Cass...so obviously the implication is that there is a serious buzz and that these songs are among the hottest shyt in Philly right now, no? Cause otherwise, I'm gonna have to assume that these "bangers" are really just random ass struggle-songs that nobody really gives a fukk about that you heard on during a local artist mix on the radio...and not ACTUAL bangers like Meek had in Rozay Red and the OG I'm A Boss before the MMG deal

and this is where I stop talking to people like you. you say chit on the slick and then deny it like a bi*ch. I mean golly, can you at least be a man on the internet?

you can have bangers without having chit on lock, jackass.

nobody said he has anything on the level of "rozay red" out now. nobody even said he was bigger than meek musically at the moment. but he got chit that's poppin at the moment, and has consistently being doing such for a good 15 or so years now.

put it like this, aren't you supposedly from the south? if scarface can still be called the king of the south, then gillie is the emperor of philly.

Where have I insulted you personally once in this thread? You're the consensus worst poster on this board, if I wanted to talk slick towards.,..trust, I would...i have no qualms about going in on your cornball ass :pachaha:...I just didn't do it in this instance, you got frustrated about what I said about gillie and lashed out like a broad

Name them...you said nobody's checking for Beans, so what are all these bangers gillie putting out that popping in the streets of Philly....that's all :manny: ...but instead of just rattling off all these "bangers" he got that's popping, you're deflecting and calling me names...my guess, they're all random struggle-songs like the one this thread is about that nobody really gives a shyt about...and if he's "still around" off the strength of these random throwaways then Beans is "still around" off the strength of that album he dropped last year or Cass is "still around" off the strength of those struggle-mixtapes he drops from time to time

Again, I don't care about whatever made-up title you want to bestow upon that nikka...the king of philly, the emperor of philly, the exalted high sultan of philly, the protector of the realm of brothery love or whatever the fukk...I was laughing at the logic and how low the bar is set for his "longevity"

Have you ever heard of this guy named will smith??? He's pretty famous I do believe. Was he in the studio with gillie a few weeks ago?? I believe so. Now quickly name another Philly rapper you've heard will smith even bring up.... Ever?? Actually show me will smith (a list, 20 mil a film) showing up at any rappers sessions period. Yea he must of done that cause gillie is d list and a nobody who ain't about shyt and gets no respect

It's like asking who's the king of Detroit. You'd think it was eminem. Any dtown nikka will tell you trick trick runs the city. Any rapper will tell you if you wanna blow in dtown, you better have his ok or help or show love when you get back. Like will smith, eminem selling diamond or close every album but who does he come back and show love to on videos. Trick trick.

Realize what you see on tv and who's hot right now in a certain city. Has zero to do with who's actually the man in that city. And I don't know where you from. But most nikkas ain't calling in a hit on somebody after they lose a fair one. nikkas shoot the fair one in their own back yard with homies and go right back to best friends. Sigel and gillie did a rack of songs after that so what you really saying. And how would you know if he got payback on who shot him? Should he take out an ad saying he got them back?? Stick to the computer

So the Gawd MC Will Smith is featured on one of these bangers y'all are referring to? That Gillie ft. Willard track got the streets of philly on fire...you gotta link to the track?

I'm sorry I don't see any part of where I mentioned him on a track or anything like that. I said he took time out of his multimillion dollar schedule to show up for gillie. Which he has never done for any other rapper from Philly in his 30 year career.

I did however ask why you think he'd do that for some d list rapper who has no respect and isn't on the same musical level as Cassidy, meek and beans... Could it be because gillie gets more respect in the city. Therefore being the reason why he can say things like "king of Philly"

But by all means. Keep switching your point every post. Mine has been the same. He's the king cause he gets more respect then all those nikkas combined

You keep thinking I give a fifth of a shyt about this nikka calling himself the king of philly, the prince of zamunda or any other random meaningless title he wants to call himself :heh:...I promise you I don't care...I keep trying to explain it more clearly, but you keep coming with increasingly more hilarious responses that I can only imagine you think are supposed to be impressive, but are dead-ass 100% comedy gold :pachaha: ... he's an untouchable boss in the streets universally loved and has never taken a loss ever, bring up the tragic death of a black man :snoop: because he was Meek's friend in an attempt to contrast the respect philly has for him and Gillie...your point being some ignorant ass "One of meek's friends got killed in philly...that'd never happen to Gillie because he gets too much respect :youngsabo:" type angle...meanwhile he's had his ass beat and shot the fukk up (not his friend or his associate, but HIM) by Philly nikkas in Philly :heh: .... he's so respected, no one would ever challange his made-up ass self appointed King of Philly title...except EVERY rapper to blow and leave a mark from philly in the past 15 or so years :heh:... He's not a d-list rapper, he had one of his homeboys secretly record him in a room with Will Smith while he played him some of his struggle-songs while Will was cooling down from a workout...so he could run and throw it on youtube for more attention whoring...:heh: that's what d-list rappers do,when nobody gives a flying fukk about their music...I have no idea who Will Smith has or hasn't spent time with, or why...I do have a good idea why Gillie went :krs: and ran to upload that hilariously awkward ass footage like it was a clip of him rocking MSG though...

It's because he's a struggle-rapper

Which is fine..there's a bunch of nobody-ass local joker rappers that never make it outside of their city but become something of local celebrities....there's no shame in that, except when combined with delusions of grandeur...my only point of contention was the silliness of trying to clown acts that actually made a mark and mattered in the game because they had their moment and fell off, then turn around and trumphet a bunch of years of sustained d-list struggle-rapping as "longevity" ...like i said before it's like dissing Marbury or Steve Francis for having NBA careers and eventually falling out of the league, then turning around propping up some nikka that spent 15 years in the CBA or a 2nd rate euro-league because he's still the man on his block off the strength of high school...

"haha Marbs is out the league, fell the fukk off...my man such and such is still dropping 15 a game for the Gary Steelheads though :youngsabo:"

I see your premise now. And that's the reason you don't make sense. Cause nobody dissed the Philly rappers who did their thing. But people do shyt on Marbury and Francis. While bigging up playground legends like earl the goat and skip to my lue. Why? Cause nba stars came down to their level on their off time, to display their skills against them. While both players you named looking flabby and never really actually did much anyway. Again being hot for a few years now we gonna act like either one had some hall of fame career now? Meanwhile jayz bringing lebron to street all tournaments. Kobe showing up to streetball leagues. Will smith showing up to gillie studio. As if he showed up to meek mill session, he wouldn't tell anyone about it cause he's too famous for that

But like I said... Nobody dissed the other rappers. We not allowed to point out when nikkas have a good 3 year run compared to someone being a level lower or two and doing that for 15 years? Like its been said. Gillie put these guys on. They later turned on him. He didn't say shyt about them. They seem a little hurt if you ask me. You get money and fame and then start dissing someone who got you there? That would be like Jordan dissing dean smith cause he didn't coach in the nba. nikka wouldn't be in the nba if it wasn't for dean smith.

Now if you don't care about any of it, why in the world you trying to break it down line for line and explain why it means nothing. Obviously everyone caught feelings over the imaginary crown, or they wouldn't diss the man in the first place.

I don't know about you but I'd rather be Shane battier than Marbury. "But Marbury was good for 5 years. Shane just plays his role for his entire career and never had to play overseas cause nobody wanted him and has some rings. I'd much rather be hot and an all star a few times cause that's what really matters"

yea cause not being broke (something you leave out about these others) and struggling is dumb. I'd much rather be rich for 3 years, blow it, be broke now, begging for features and for people to answer my calls than be comfortable (but not rich) for the next 15.

Good points man. I'm done

@Venem :stop:

youre wasting your time arguing with this @Long_Live_The_Kane clown. hes not cut from that cloth so he'll never understand. you gotta pick your battles wisely with half the people on this board. theyre not built like that so some of the stuff that's common knowledge concerning this culture is foreign to them.

and more importantly, I just realized in another thread why dude is arguing to the death in here. hes a lil wayne fanatic.

it makes sense. before I peeped that, i was seriously wondering how dude even wandered in here in the 1st place. that pretty much explains why hes going hard in here despite being mad out-of-place in this thread.
