I would thank so. Cause most rappers ain’t making money from it and just rapping with dreams of a maybe and 99% will never make any good money.

9-5 atleast you know when your neck check coming, even tho you gotta really work.

Unlike most rappers who ain’t doing any physical labor

I agree with this. You gotta write lyrics, come up with a hook, etc all off the top on your head. And you gotta do this like 15 times for one album. I remember Game did a interview about the song writing process and he said by the time you start writing the 3rd verse you are tired.

Also going on tour is WOAT, most these rappers gotta travel from city to city in a tour bus :francis: Then you gotta give an energetic performance in each city :damn: I remember reading that Jay Z recorded the Kingdom Come album while on tour overseas :damn: touring by itself is tiring but recording an album on top of that

not as true as u might think bruh.

1. A lot of these rappers are being handed singles that the label/songs producer has been sitting on where the basic hook and song concept is already done, the rapper just has to add verses.

2. Most rap songs nowadays don’t even really have basic hooks or verses and you would be hard pressed to see a rap song nowadays clock in at longer than two minutes and 20 seconds, the days of writing three verse songs with a bridge and a hook are over.

3. I say upwards of 80% of popular rappers are awful performers. They don’t have the discography to keep the audience pumped and don’t really “perform” their songs just recite them.

of course it is...unless your talking about manual labor. Rappers gotta promote and write and record and perform and brainstorm around the clock like a business owners. But in most cases they're doing what they love so it's not really "work"...its effort. Also some of these tasks can be delegated.
