Glad they are really going in on Steve Kerr and what he’s doing to kuminga. The teams sucks the system is outdated. If an athletic bucket can’t fit your system then the system is the issue. Everyone isn’t built to get curry open all game.

Curry can get off on his own he doesn’t need that, he needs people to put pressure on the rim and be aggressive. It’s why Poole worked that year. He was out there going for it. Kuminga put up 24 a game in 30 minutes in playoff intensity. Prime curry made Kerr seem like a great coach when he’s just rigid and lucky. Kuminga has been played with by the coach since forever, it’s corny to blame his fukkups. They all suck

And look where we are now. Kuminga value has tanked cause the Warriors are jerking him around to the point he's demanding a trade since GS still has control of him next year. It's clear the front office and Kerr aren't on the same page about dude.
Ok so he takes the qualifying offer and gets jerked around for 8 million and in the same position as he is now. I don’t see how this is a loss for him.

Either they trade him and he gets a guaranteed 24 mill next year or they move on making him a ufa.

They been kicking the Warriors back in for months when it came to Kuminga and the various ways Talking about how they were on bullshyt, giving him bs minutes to lower his value. This was before the season started.

From may: This mostly contract shyt. They place some of the blame on the agent, they said the agent shouldve been experienced enough to see how the Warriors would sabotage him.

From July: Reacting to a clip of Kerr talking about Kuminga not being a good fit for the current roster. "I've been asked to win and right now he's not a guy i can say he fits and will play 38mins"

Yup. And I feel like they’re the only ones really dumping on Kerr about it. Seeing a lot of deflecting to kumingas side. Who the hell would look good under these conditions :childplease: But podz and Pat Spencer though.

The point is that in the NBA eventually you stop getting looked at as a young player with potential worth a big contract and just get looked at as just another guy. Once you're placed in that just another guy box it's hard to break out of that and get paid the bigger money. He'll be close to 25 once 2027 free agency hits. He'll be stuck taking on a contract as a possible piece versus being a guy a team will try to feature. That's where hitting free agency a year early with still some value to his name would help. Plus he'd be able to control where he goes.
