listening to it now its such a bitterly scornful song masquerading as some vapid tribute to women. no wonder nas found it curious and called him out on it. it was really about his disdain for women

since beyonce and his daughter jay seems to have calmed down from all that, but in those days he had zero respect for women

can't believe i'm about to use this word, but the SWAG on that song was just out of this world. had girls singing it and yet he was dissing them on the low. :facepalm:as an african i did not like the 'why you treat me like animal' line. :thumbsdown:one of the reason's why i smiled when nas called him out about the song!!!!! :laugh: catchy track, the production to this day:banderas:

it was actually a reference to Eddie Murphy's classic bit on Delirious (or was it Raw?). i could see why it's still viewed as disrespect though...

and yeah, i mainly like the song because of the beat.
