Girls Saying Random shyt To You in Public...How Do You React

How do y'all usually react when a girl says something completely unsolicited to you in public? I was on Melrose Blvd wearing an LA Kings hat when this random white girl looked me up and down and was like 'Go Kings!'

I didn't think much of it at the time but as I was driving home, I thought she might have been choosing...she had to know few brehs actually care that much about the Kings out here. Or maybe not. This kind of thing has happened before when I'm out and about so I imagine it happens to everyone.

Not humblebragging, just wondering if this happens to yall and if so what you do in that situation.

The other day, I had JUST walked out the barbershop feeling myself fresh cut, definition on fleek and this BAD bytch just hit the corner (we crossed perpendicular to each other) and out of nowhere (I say out of nowhere cuz I didn't even notice her until she spoke up) she goes " HEY DO YOU HAVE A LIGHTER?"

I said no mam and she smiled n Said almost to herself how come no one has lighters ..

But she kept walking..


Later on like forty minutes later I called my man's and straight up said bro ... how the TF was I supposed to respond to that without seeming like a thirsty creep or was she really just looking for a lighter? ?

I usually just chalk it up to women having horrible game as usual and nikkas have to play master detective to ever know really what the fukk we are supposed to do

Trust me as soon a she asked I thought about just stopping and being like hold up what's your name, you smoke word blah blah but like.... if she was walking at 2 mph before she spoke to me, she was walking at 2 mph after she spoke to me... whatever man.

I have had this happen a couple of times. I usually just ignore them completely. The last two times, it was young white girls doing it, like teenage young. I look probably ten years younger than I am so they must've thought I was on their level. I was in the movie theater playing Galaga and this girl comes up to me saying 'hey' to me over and over all loud and obnoxious. I would've thought she was drunk but she wasn't even 18. Then in Walmart before that, I was looking at oil for my car at like 3 in the morning and these two white girls came and stood right behind me, like within 3 feet and were just talking about some shyt i don't remember. I could tell they wanted me to say something but nah. This other time there was a white girl at work that literally threw herself into me physically so i would talk to her, but her parents were racist so that has left a bad taste with me for those kind of people.

This happened to me yesterday in the grocery store after work. I was picking up some water and some fruit and I was behind this chick and she smiled at my and you drink a gallon a day. Some people are friendly. Doesn't necessarily mean they want to jump your bones.
Almost nothing annoyed me more in undergrad than speaking to a chick or making casual banter in lab and later finding out she's telling anyone who will listen that I want her.
In the situation you just stated, I'd likely have given her a wink and a "Right on," and kept it pushing.
Sometimes I've ignored females trying to make conversation if I didn't feel like being bothered.
It really just depends on the vibe & energy I'm getting from the female, my mood, and whether or not I find her attractive.
