I love both projects but I'm riding with

Poe Man's Dreams, ADHD, Ronald Reagan Era, HiiiPower, Spiteful Chant and Keisha's Song over Money Trees, good kid, bytch Don't Kill My Vibe, maad City and Sing For Me,I'm Dying of Thirst ALL DAY.

Section 80 resonated with my soul and really moved me. A lot more relate-able for me and I much prefer the hooks and production.

GKMC is a great project in its own right though.

GKMC is more complete than Section 80 IMO...GKMC feels like a cohesive well thought out album.

This is'nt to say that Section 80 is'nt but GKMC does it better. Both are very dope projects that would'nt be able to exist without the other.

S80 = SSLP

GKMC = MMLP

Right now I'll give GKMC a slight edge and thats only because very few rappers make concept albums and stick with a theme throughout.. Section 80 had a theme and it was dope but this album was just more personal and gave me a better feeling of who Kendrick Lamar is.. Which alot of new rappers don't do

Also I personally could relate more to GKMC cause I know how it is trying to be somewhat good in a fukked neighborhood and but of hood nikkas as friends.. Them skits with his momma calling about bringing her car back hit home...
