Didn't Gladiator win Best Picture? This was Ridley Scott at his peak. Phoenix and Crowe are both tremendous actors.

One of my top 5 goto movies when I need something to watch. Even in the end be having a nig like when his boys come out like "who will help me carry him?" Music come in, it's a wrap.

I was about to cry in the final scene because of that score. Had to think fast and pick a fight with my girl,because she didn't close the grinder well enough, to stop the tears coming out.

That final scene, his house, and then the music hits...oh man. If you don't feel anything right there you might be a psycho.

Great film my only critique is that I personally hate the fast cut scenes in battles like in the intro of the movie. Still an A+ film though.
