She shouldnt have to defend shyt.
Everyone can have their own opinion. nikkas been singing/playing the national anthem for generations. If she doesn't have an issue with it then nothing is wrong in that, if someone does have an issue with it nothing wrong with that either.
Tired of everybody being expected to think the same.

When you get invited to one of the hugest television events in the US with a good chunk of change coming your way, why would anyone reject that opportunity?

It was probably a good number, but chump change when you look at the amount advertising dollars that was brought in. Millions for a 30-second ad. They were running ads all night long.
I would have sung the national anthem if I had a good singing voice. My singing voice is trash so that possibility is moot.
