it's not really losing it, because the people stealing the money spend the money so it goes back into the economy.

Financial crime should be the least of our worries. Real danger is that there will be attacks that will seriously undermine social/political stability.
That’s why I believe we need to rethink how computer crimes are punished. Needs to be on same level as violent crime, perhaps even stronger.
