I don't compare vocals to people like "whitney and nem" because their vocals were suited for the music they were doing and may not have been so versatile with other forms of music.

so as long as the vocals are suited for the music they're doing, no need for comparison.

Amy Winehouse could blow but her singing.....how can I describe it....it's like Janis Joplin. You could tell it was copycat and worked up to where it was. She isn't going toe to toe with Whitney.
