Dudes think they have enough game to do whatever they want.
Women don't tolerate disrespect from anyone.....they just handle things differently depending on the man. If a woman has lots of better options, she'll leave ASAP and get with another man. If the man has more options (he is a rich athlete and she's a normal broad), she'll stick around long enough to get married/knocked up....play the long game.
