fukk it, it is what it is :manny:

Cleveland should've traded Bron three years ago and Orlando should've traded Howard at the all star break last season. Why take that risk of hoping they'll resign.. and when they don't your franchise is set back ten years-back to square one.

Minnesota will be on the clock next year with Kevin Love. If they don't make the playoffs and he starts kickin' out more of that bullshyt- trade his azz and build the team around Rubio. Denver did it right with Carmelo

Because trading a superstar that's not looking to bounce = losing your job.

Breh, they're already doing that.

You would have thought the Lockout would have made General managers jobs a little easier in terms of dealing with malcontents like a Dwight Howard but it really didn't, it seems like GMs' always have to worry about rebuilding instead of winning.

I am all for the pre-emptive strike. It's stupid to sit around and hoping that a nikkas re-ups with you. If hes' down, he's down. If he's hesitant then he aint' down, fukk it. Unless you are in LA or MIA or NY or other places were you can attract FAs with no problem you can't be taking risks like that.

Denver got over with Carmelo. The KNicks were just stupid. I say trade them to whatever team gives you the best offer whether they wanna go there or not.

I feel you but at the same time he's been in Orlando for eight years. Change is good sometimes. I know most fans need that box office attraction for them to part with their money but you can't put your heart into these players especially with a flake and a phony like Howard.

Losing a superstar and having no contingency plan=losing your job as well. There is no easy way here. I just think that sitting back and waiting and hoping with you fingers crossed is a bad way to do business.

It's all about making the best of your star players first four years when he's on his rookie deal. OKC did a great job and now Durant isnt' going anywhere. You think Bron leaves Cle if he has Russel, Harden, Ibaka in Cle. You think Dwight would be leaving with those guys around him in Orl? Margin for error is slim if you aren't in one of the chosen cities.

the magic couldnt do it. outside of the year they picked howard they seem to always be a playoff team. so they can't draft talented players and the cap was tied up. In fact what was going on the year they got howard with orlando anyway. Hill and Tmac as usual must of been hurt.

In the end Denver really didnt get over, teams rebuilding like the Cavs are in better positon then a team like the Nuggets who will be stuck as a lower tier playoff team because they have no star

Unles youre getting a young star back which rarely ever happens youre almost better off letting your star hit free agency then take back mediocre talent and high paid players..

Why would the Cavs trade Lebron? That's like the Wolves trading KG after his 04' MVP season:pachaha:

:ooh: at what each team could have gotten in those deals.

T-Mac was just going through the motions and G. HIll was actually healthy if I recall correctly. They just sucked that year.

Cavs are on a 3 year countdown. If they dont' put a team around Kyrie he's gone.

Nuggets were a lower tier playoff team during the whole time Melo, the star was there. At least now they have flexibility.
