Gnosticism the true religion? Out of all the religions it’s the only one that explains the nature of our world and why evil flourishes.

you've already decided that the "whore of babylon" is a woman

and I am saying that you underestimate the actual babylonians (or assyrians for that matter) in the bronze age they worshipped bulls and heifers

once again, John of Patmos wrote Revelations while imprisoned and likely starving

if you fast for 40 days and give up all foods you will read that entire narrative differently. In the west and specifically Protestant Christianity, the idea about fasting as a means of contemplation is completely missing

i highly recommend you contemplate kashrut/kosher laws with respect to "prophecy" which should not be something you hedge your life on.

Jonah 4:10-11

no thanks, you literally have poseidon as your Avatar. I'm good on all that.

king triton from the little mermaid

Triton (/ˈtraɪtɒn/; Ancient Greek: Τρίτων, romanized: Trítōn) is a Greek god of the sea, the son of Poseidon and Amphitrite. Triton lived with his parents in a golden palace on the bottom of the sea. Later he is often depicted as having a conch shell he would blow like a trumpet.

but seriously, unless you fast you will barely understand christian prophecies as most of those men were ascetics and believed in things that were not perpetuated by Catholics and subsequently protestants that branched off from them

Mythology

The mountain took its name after this Athos, who was attacked by Poseidon, the god of the sea.[3] The citation is incomplete, as it fails to establish that the mountain was named from the giant.[4] Stephanus of Byzantium attributed the story to some lost work by Nicander, where he apparently described Poseidon hurling two blocks with his hands against the gigantic Athos.[5] Eustathius of Thessalonica says that then Poseidon trapped Athos under the mountain.[4]

no women to be found on Athos :whew:

Clip from the stream:

Yo, I been watching this series. It's fukkin' mind blowing. Not that I agree with all theories he talks about (specifically the noma implanting thoughts in humans, I believe thoughts come from synapses firing) but I love he is tying a lot of ideas together to explain what other people might be thinking. It's illmatic!

Gnosticism is some woe is me bullshyt to have something to blame for your own failures.

Thoughts are more than our brains tho. “The laws of god are written in your heart”

Our brains are antenna to the “principalities of darkness” and more. You can override them but its hard. Thats where the jesus lessons come in and accepting the pain of life and giving it all up. All holy men/monks/ascetic priests/jesus/buddah have stories of going into isolation, and being demonically attacked. Once the noise goes down and you see what it is “YOU” really “think” about.. you can feel when other “ideas” “float in”.

Thats why certain areas have different “demons” and the places never change and like minded congregate there over generations / millennia even. They are possesed by the thought itself.

We never thought about these ideas all day before the internet. We had our own lives. What is praying? Hyper focusing on an idea. Imagining something.

Now we essentially “pray” to these ideological ideas all day. Which is why they gain power and influence.

Like i saw someone say in the recent alien thread. Be careful out there.

Whew :wow:my mom thought the devil had taken over when I took it down. Lmao

I was like “we aren’t supposed to have graven images anyway, but if we do, it needs to be a Black Jesus”.
have you ever thought that the "act" of hanging a picture on a wall from a "priests" point of view is not actually clean?

in yeshivas and synagogues is it common to have imagery hung on walls? @Koichos @Sccit

If there wasn’t any truth to it why did the Catholic Church hunt down and kill all of the gnostics for centuries and burning all of their works…. To the point that the only way we know about them is because a farmer accidentally found a sealed cave with some books
So I guess all the "pagan" european religions, all the african religioms and Islam are also true?

Yeah, just because it was deemed a threat to Carholics doesn't make it true.
No human knows the mysteries of the universe no matter how convincing their argument.
can you give an example of a mystery in the universe that is not explained by religion or science?

and what is your stance on it

Not at all. Prohibition aside, we are to limit distractions. This is why it is forbidden to pray while facing a picture, mirror or reflective surface even if one’s eyes are closed!

thats very interesting, very superstitious :wtf:

my thought with mirrors is that despite how they appear they are always boiled burning sand

even if you like what you see, it in a literal sense is like a walking piece of gehenna holding up images it has no control over
