Dont know about DoorDash but Grubhub only pays their drivers $2 per delivery. I looked at my Grubhub receipt when I ordered Whataburger and realized I paid $15 more then what I would've paid had I went through the drive through. And out of that $15 the driver only gets $2 of that. Ice cold and customers not going to tip when already paying a $15 surcharge 
the business model for the industry is to pay the drivers on a waiter's pay scale. You hate to see it. DoorDashers would get more money waiting tables at a restaurant then delivering food. Talk about hustling backwards

Depends where you live. I got homies making a couple hundred a day doing door dash in The Bay and Vegas like a regular 9-5.

Me too. My homie does doordash grub hub and go puff. He makes 1100 a week.
I did Doordash, UberEats, and Postmates while I was in professional school in Nashville. I made decent money doing it part time. I was making on average $16-20 an hour. You can make money in midsize cities such as Nashville, Raleigh, and Charlotte. Cacs will leave you huge tips, especially in wealthier areas. Not so in big cities, such as Atlanta or DC, because there are a lot of competition and people do not tip. They don't have extra money to tip.
dont care for these services. convenient sure, but the prices are crazy and they dont pay the drivers enough
on the days i could really use em (lunch/prime dinner times) the food cold or wrong by the time i get it an hour later
