He's only slept on in terms of A list mainstream popularity. He's known to us in the urban market. He never did anything solo that made a strong crossover impact like a Steve Harvey or Bernie Mac or DL Hughly. Plus he has a pro Black agenda in his routines and that might be his hurdle to fully crossover to mainstream recognition.
