so they made $130 million and got to whitewash their movie and they "lost"? Nah,people are still watching this bullshyt and lining the directors, producers, actors and studio's pockets smh
When you spend 140. And make 260.. yea you're in the black :steviej:
But the point is to triple up. At least. Once you cross that 100M threshold ...that flip need to be triple to be a success

Of course they have HOPES but you're arguing that it could be MORE successful not that it wasn't successful. Everybody got paid.

So technically they could have made 200 and according to you that was a success. . In any business .. if you aren't making AT LEAST twice the cost of manufacturing .. you are hustling ass backwards :ld:
& I'm sure they were hoping to hit 300 without a doubt. Big named actors too.. smh u sleep

the bolded isn't a rule in business at all B. Again what they hoped for has nothing to do with whether this was worth the time they put into it. The whole issue is the time. Could they have made more money doing something else? When you make money doing something the only negative would be if you could have made significantly more using the time for something else. All i'm arguing is that it isn't a flop. It mightnot be a huge success but it isn't a flop and that pisses me off because it should be a flop because of the whitewashing. That side by side of white and black actors and their roles makes me sick. It is a business though so who do you blame? the business people that we know just want to make money or the audience who the business people cater to. White America and racist chinese people apparently smh

Even liberal whites don't want to see that shyt. They know they wasn't living in no 110 degree desert, only racists and the hardcore conservative crowd clinging on to the lie.
Thanks to social media this lie has been seen as...a lie.

thats why all these movies about whitewashed egypt flop hard AF now....

Thats why Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra and Charleston Heston as Moses now comes off as laughable.

@Y2Dre said it....if whites took egypt white supremacy holds solid now that has been proven as a myth and the lies told as truthsabout egypt and middle eastern history are being revealed as such and the truth is finally coming out.

Besides...the previews make it look like some stupid video game for xbox like prince of persia (another whitewashed monstrosity.)

How is doubling up terrible I don't get it

Movie studios split the box office with the movie theater chains.

Studios make their money from domestic box office, international box office, dvd sales, merchandising and tv licensing. But like I said, the movie theater chains take half. Plus, the budget doesn't include the marketing costs (upwards of $50-$100 million on huge blockbusters). So a movie that costs $75 million to make really needs to make $150 million or $170 million to be break even. Usually, most movies lose money. Studios depend of the few movies that make $1 billion or more to finance everything else.

I don't like seeing brehs in horror or scifi. I don't like seeing us die and we fukk the horror up. Get all cocky and beat Jason or Freddie up.

Naw I'm comfy watching cacs trip on themselves and do stupid things.

Very well said. True to the best. We really should make a movie with with black actors playing Egyptians and maybe white actors playing their advisors. I'm thinking Jaden Smith as Tutanchamun and Ben Kingsley as his Vizier. What do you guys think?

All it is is our history played by Cacs:yeshrug:

Set was never evil

Heru's eye is the 3rd eye not the physical eye

Heru eyes are gold (according to Egyptologists but we know it to be purple) not blue because the star he came from was a Gold star

The twin Cobras in the desert in the trailer is upper and lower Kemet combined and the kundalini
