Imagine struggling living check to check, then you win the lottery. No more having to work for the man, taking good care of close family, going on nice trips Then you lose it all and you back to working at McDonalds. How do you not commit that?

I went from living check to check, barely scraping by struggling (but not near homelessness or anything like that, just never having anything left over) to being in a very comfortable position with plenty of money saved and money coming in, right back to where I started. Probably the most frustrating time period of my life once I actually realized how far I had fallen relative to how hard I had worked to get up.

I’ll tell you now, the only feeling worse than being broke is being successful and the fear of being broke again. That will keep you up at night more than an empty fridge and rent being late.
