Going on vacation with parents

I’m going on a 3 day vacay solo to Chicago. Thinking about taking mom and dad with me they are both in 70s. I was planning on going by myself but thought should I take them with me. Anyone purposely take their older parents on vacay

Yes I have. My parents are also in their late sixties. We’ve taken them on cruises and to Disneyworld.

I am so blessed to still have both my parents as many of my peers have lost their parents in their sixties and seventies. My husband’s father died a decade ago.

Take them, they will appreciate it so much.

I do this with mine; they'll appreciate it. Just know that you will be the parent to them, so plan to make it as easy as possible for them

Yeah my parents are about that age but there is nothing about them that screams elderly or whatever. Like its not like i have to roll them around or change a diaper or some ish lol. They are just regular people and do regular ish. I'm bout to go on a beach trip with my mother in a few weeks

Take them. I been trying to get my mom out to Cali to go to Disneyland with my kids

Trip might be rough with elderly but u will look back and cherish that shyt forever. Do it my guy
