I came here for work and been driving back and forth between Hicksville and White-Plains during the day. Staying at the Hapmton inn in Jericho/Westbury. I feel like i could go out at night but for me to get anywhere fun is a mission from here so I've just been chilling at a bar nearby.

I just work in the city, I don't really be out here like that.

Telling you to hit up Fordham or Harlem might be asking you to go to the hood.
Midtown Manhattan might be too nerdy and expensive.
Downtown IS nerdy and expensive.

you're in the burbs, that's not nyc. you're probably 20+ miles away from metropolitan life. of course it's boring.

i can recommend some good food in that area if you need though.

If your style is fitted caps and such, I can't help you. I haven't worn that style of dress since my junior year of college 5 years ago.

Lol well that's the problem. No wonder why you're bored. Long Island kinda sucks. I've lived in Long Island for much of my life, but luckily I live on the border of Queens and Long Island so a troop to the city or other boroughs doesn't take me long at all.

Go to NYC. You won't be bored.

I made that trip to White-Plains 6 times already since tuesday paying $90 in tolls. It's all good. The job paying for it all.

New York is one of these cities i can never truly enjoy. Every time i come here it's either for work, someone's wedding or someone's funeral. I never get to really enjoy it even tho i try. But I actually prefer London, in comparison.

Plus what makes it hard is my one NYC jump off i would chill with when here stopped taking to me . Little costa rican honey i met while i was in Costa Rica. She lives in the Bronx and we always linked up when i would come here. Lately she's been ignoring my calls. I think I know why but still.

The other chicks i know here are tied up and my cousins be busy so i don't wanna be a pain in there asses
