Castro is the gay part of SF so if thats not your thing then I'd advice you to stay away since most men you see there will probably be gay
If you're looking for a more adult atmosphere I'd say go get dinner in SOMA. It's the trendy adult part of SF.

You can get a card in the Mission, there's this guy that writes prescriptions for them if you pay him. My aunt sells but she doesn't live in the city.
The Mission is also a bomb ass place to get Messican food. Walk across golden gate bridge too

These aren't bad either. MOMA is alright, sorta boring. Went to Golden Gate Park for Oyster Fest. Not bad, it was cold as fack though.
When I went to Castro, the gay wasn't crazy, unless you're looking for it.

I hit up SOMA, golden gate bridge, a ton of chinese places and dim sum, haight and ashbury. The Marina was ok, Embarcadero was very touristy but got some good deals. I mostly enjoyed the hills and architecture, Houston is pretty flat. I wish I had time to see the redwood trees a little north up.

What's the age range in there? I'm only 21 so I don't want to feel too outta place.
It's a young bar (I'm only 23) but it's a bit divey. I was just in SF a couple of months ago and I'm trying to remember the bars I went to but it's a bit fuzzy admittedly
I remember Lion's Pub, they have really good Greyhounds but it gets packed.
I'm having a tough time remembering because I also went to some really cool lounges that would be good just to hang out and drink. If I remember I'll be sure to post it.
Bottom line though, SF is one of the best cities in the world and one of the picturesque and most unique, it's gonna be fun either way
edit: 15 Romolo was the name of a cool lounge I went to.
