i used to be mad self conscious and afraid to go by myself. always wondering what other people think when i walked in a sat down by myself.

after the first few times, i prefer to go by myself. its so much better, dont have to meet and waitup for anyone... can basically find a seat for one no matter what time you go, you watching a movie anyways so you dont talk, after the movie is done.....bounce and go home

A movie is a movie, I rather watch a good film alone than watching a stupid pop culture, satire movie like EPIC MOVIE or like Movie 43 with a bunch of people.

I do it all the time. Nothing weird about it IMO, plus it's easier to get a good seat because so many people leave an open seat inbetween that I can scoot into. And they always hate it, lol.

Yup, I've done it a couple times. It's cool. I've never been the type of person to care what the next man thinks of me, so it wasn't a problem for me at all.

Going alone is a good change of pace, and actually pretty relaxing. If you've never done it, I'd recommend doing it at some point.

i used to do this during the day a lot at my old job. theater is quiet, prices lower. you can really get into it.

never have gone by myself at night or on a weekend though. i might, but its more of the fact that the theater experience is terrible with the weekend night crowds. paying $13 and hearing constant chatter, cell phones lighting up, and other bullshyt gets me

I did once as a kid because my parents wanted to see some bullshyt and I wanted to see small soldiers or something. The times matched up and I went by myself. But I can't imagine doing that shyt now. Maybe I'll try it again when I want to go see some indie movie none of my friends want to see.

I've never done it. Seems like I never had an instinct to go by myself and all my FAM and friends are huge movie buffs so it would actually be hard to go dolo unless I didn't tell anyone.

I enjoy watching movies with other people a lot more than watching anything by myself.
