Golden age Nickelodeon vs powerhouse era cartoon network which was better?

Which era was superior? Golden age Nick? (1991-1997) or powerhouse era cartoon network? (1997-2004). Imma have to go with cartoon network on this one to much heat from this era: cartoon cartoons,toonami, adult swim,etc.. by 2000 CN was attitude era status at this point

As an adult, I can watch old and new cartoon network and stil be impressed by the the quality

Outside of Hey Arnold, Rocko and maybe CatDog, Nick just doesn't hold up well

Golden age Nickelodeon created the climate for Cartoon Network to succeed like it did. So I voted for the OG but it's no slight to CN.

Nick had classics, but Cartoon Network was loaded

You can sit around on the right day, and they broadcast (CN) nothing but classics for damn near 12 straight hours

Nickelodeon literally was raising kids from 8am until Nick at Night. It cant be compared to a collection of cartoons. Nickelodeon paved the way for channels to exist that catered exclusively to kids.

Classic shyt like You Cant Do That On Television, Wild and Crazy Kids, Nick Arcade, What Would You Do, Guts, Double Dare, All That, Are You Afraid Of The Dark....etc.... Those are groundbreaking type shows.

Hate to say it but if you werent a kid when Nickelodeon was in its prime then you cant grasp how much that channel changed everything. That was one of those generation defining periods.
