The fukk I never got to watch Sonic The Hedgehog cartoons cuz that shyt be on at damn near 6AM like A lil breh still be asleep. Then Pokemon came out at 7AM but during that time I'd be in the shower and getting dressed. I never was able to watch any of those shyts.

DBZ came on at the perfect time for me. I think it came on at like 5:00PM EST or 5:30PM. Never really missed an episode as I'd been be in the house from school.

On the weekday, it was fukking awesome cause it was what I watched while eating breakfast before walking to school. Since my school was literally a few blocks away, I could wait until 10 mins before school started to leave.

Before toonami really popped off, all us 90s babies new what was poppin in the afternoon.

I amazingly had no issue waking up on saturday around 8ish, when all the good shyt came on KidsWB. Pokemon use to stay on deck on Saturday, and I'll never forget this classic from Damien Wayans
