I was thinking of this last night as I was driving home from this bar/club (I turned tf up, when the DJ played "Tupacs Back"

)

Anyway, I stepped out the place at 2 and walked to get a piece of pizza and a water, after doing so I was walking back to my car and I saw this girl crying so I gave her my water, that I hadn't even Opened yet.

A couple weeks ago I also gave 3 big bags worth of clothes to a homeless mission.

What are some good things that you've done or are doing for your fellow human?

your stars are but dust on my shoes
Random old hippie came up to me yesterday talking about sparing change for food. I just got change from grocery shopping, so I told him "yeah, I got a dollar [I can spare.]"

He didn't have to explain or win me over, but he kept on going as i reached for the dollar in my wallet; he mentioned how hungry he was and how thankful he is for even a dollar, as it could get him a meal (at McDonalds I'm guessing.)

Crazy thinking about it now. If he had been chilling on the street begging for change, I wouldn't have even thought about handing some money over. But he went up to me specifically, and asked me for a dollar, and it wasn't a big deal.:yeshrug:

Wonder if homeless people should actually start doing that instead of waiting for people to spare money :ohhh:

I saw a blind dude looking like he needed help, so I approached him and sure enough he did. I walked him across the street and down the street, and gave him some directions as detailed as I could. Made me appreciative that i'm fully healthy, because that's a tough life to live.

My next door neighbor said that her boyfriend couldn't fix the plumbing problem. :sas1:

So, I went over and fixed her plumbing for free. :sas2:

I volunteer at a hospital and sponsor a child through world vision. Also coach a softball team.

But yeah you never know the little things you can give how it makes someone so happy.

Sometimes when I'm downtown if someone asks me for some money for food I'll take em to a McDonalds or something and get em whatever they want. You never know you could be homeless one day.

I remember when I was Cuba I gave this worker a blue jays bautista shirt he was always asking me for and it looked like it was Christmas in his eyes. Then I gvw this old white Cuban a snapback jays hat and dude started to cry I was like :leon:
