Good games that require VERY LITTLE computing power

I need some games to play on my laptop. It's a 5 year old $400 Toshiba so i'm assuming I can't play any new shyt. I heard there were some great INDY games. I'd love to play some old school platformers or something with updated graphics or newer games that are still playable on old hardware. any suggestions?

fukk I downloaded the gunpoint demo thru steam and I click on play and the box pops up saying preparing to launch and nothing happens. tried in offline mode too smh
