garageband is a shytty DAW?!?!?! :what:

no matter what program you use, you're so called "quality" will always suck.

you don't even have a fukking preamp. you're using a shytty usb mic.(trash it)

step your mic game up and buy an audio interface

ps. stop rating all of your threads 5 stars

There is no best. And I don't know the prices.

^^^... The sound you record is only going to be good as the mic signal coming in. Like dude said, buy an Audio interface or buy a mic preamp. As far software I've used Auditon, Pro Tools and I currently use Cubase 5. I know most of them have trials or demos so try it out and see which one you're comfortable with.

Pro tools 10 w an Mbox interface and a focus rite ISA one preamp. Rode NT2a microphone and some good headphones/monitor speakers. Learn how to use the program/mix vocals. There's plenty of easy to follow tutorials online. Ur gonna spend some bread, but if ur serious about it it's worth the investment.
