For some of the dudes into home decor, I'm painting my living room and kitchen accent walls.

Something like this color:

you should be safe with wallmart but if you have a lowes or hd I'd go there instead. I'm sure they all have the same paint selections.

1. Do not go to Wal*Mart for interior house paint. The paint sold at Wal*Mart is low quality which is why it is cheap.
2. Get primer. Or get the primer and paint in one. If you skip on the primer, that's going to cost you in having to put down multiple coats. Time and money.
3. If you go to Home Depot, get the Behr Premium Plus paint. If you go to Lowe's, get the Valspar top end stuff. Don't cheap out.
4. Use semi-gloss in the kitchen for easy clean up of stuff. In the living room, it's your choice to go with eggshell or satin.
5. Benjamin Moore is good too but seems to be very expensive.
