BR and JCrew will have you looking fly. Just take your time
Uniqlo for base layers/socks only
Zara if you can fit they're ridiculously tiny sizes
charles tyrwhitt for shirts
Topman/Topshop
The Tie Bar for odds and ends like handkerchiefs/tie bars/etc

don't waste your time and $ on H&M
don't bother with The Gap when BR has all the better shyt and don't even consider old navy

I've had some casual oxfords and gingham shirts from H&M that have held up pretty well.
I'd also add Nordstrom Rack and Club Monaco onto your list.
OP should be good to go with those.

Yeah he can pick up some good ties at Nordstrom rack for no more than $20 a piece - and it doesn't matter what brand, just as long as they look good. You can also get some decent Blazers/suit jackets from there but I've never bothered. Better off grabbing a suit from BR and taking it to a tailor.

As far as H&M goes I wouldn't touch their stuff unless I was very young and didn't have much cash to budget out on clothes. I just can't fukk with their quality and there's wayyyyyyy better options that are out there. H&M is cheap shyt for girls. American Eagle even has better quality than them and that stuff is for teenagers

Uniqlo Oxfords are on a whole other level. And you're talking to a guy who LOVES his RL, JCrew, Banana, Brooks Brothers, Thom Browne oxfords

Well i dropped some $$ these past few days but it was worth it.

-I got some 2 casual slim chinos from Gap for $60 ea (pricey but i had 2 pair from Target that i got for $30 ea from 3 yrs ago..i figured id bite the bullet if i held onto the other ones for that long)
-Casual ($12) and dress (14) button down shirts from H&m
-Brown loafers (cole haan) loafers for around 100 at DSW

I appreciate the input. H&m really fit my budget. Banana republic and Express had some nice stuff but it was just out of my price range right now. Im 22 so its not like im balling crazy.

:salute:
