The way you said it sounds a little harsh, but basically cosign 100%. Look, footbll is a VERY dangerous sport. Educate the players of ALL risks involved before they get into the league. I guarantee you very few to none would be like "Word? Oh nevermind, I'm gonna go work at Walmart".
NEWSFLASH - there are other dangerous sports ou there too! Hockey, Rodeo, AUTO RACING. Dudes have actually died in car racing! Including major stars like Dale Earnhardt. Any talk of major changes to racing? NOPE.
That big lawsuit facing the NFL now is not about football being dangerous. Its about there are particular injuries the NFL discovered(long term effects from concussions) and they kept it secret.
Educate the players of the risks so they can make informed decisions and play ball.

If I was Goodell I'd just say, ay man pro football, it is what it is.
You can come get some checks for a couple of years, you may die, you may have no money when it's all said and done, you might kill yourself, you might have crippling bodily injuries and irreparable brain damage but hey, thems the breaks
