I already have a PS3 that streams most shyt, but that cinevea protection fukking kills me. I'd like a better option for watching movies. And can I stream sports to either one? I'd like to be able to watch the PPV's on the tv instead of a web browser. Either one able to do firstrow?

Opinions?

The Chromecast will be able to handle anything you'd like to mirror from your browser to your TV. Roku having Plex support would be the obvious choice if you were just looking for a more convenient way to watch your "purchased" movies / tv shows.

For those with a Roku, there's no need for a Chromecase.

For those of use new to TV streaming with a shytload of a Google account integration, Chromecast is the #1 choice.

The roku and chrome cast are 2 different devices the chromecast supplements. I have one and the shyt doesn't work well it's always disconnecting.

Chrome allows you to stream from your cpu monitor because the roku doesn't have an internet browser.

Until Google releases the SDK, the Chromecast is VERY limited. What exactly are you trying to do with your setup?

Chromecast is very limited right now so I would say buy a roku. I have a chromecast and other than to test it out the first day I bought, I haven't even used it.

I watch any sport game I want, even international, using playon with WD Live. Roku 2 should have that same option
