i've been comparing search results for google and bing using the same keywords. I'm lazy so i'm not going to provide pictures and you guys can look for yourself.

first result:

CONCLUSION:
I do not know the algorithms for these search engines, but the results for the top hits are CLEARLY different. I'd recommend you use BOTH search engines ESPECIALLY when you are entering controversial keywords. I know that both search engines have different top hits, so they may naturally be different depending on how many people use what keywords in each search engine, but I also know that search engines promote certain websites and maybe even philosophies and you don't want to get pigeonholed to just a promoted point of view. USE DIFFERENT SEARCH ENGINES FOR EVERYTHING.
