My Dad used to say the Confederacy didn’t lose, not really. Plantation owners got their land right back and got reparations for the loss of their “property and future income”. Lincoln was more concerned about white southern peoples “feelings” about losing.

What should’ve happened was that Sherman should’ve been allowed to complete his “scorched-earth” policies. The confederacy should’ve lost everything, Embarrass them, strip them of their land, ruin their pride, humiliate them and make them feel shame. Instead the opposite happened and they were allowed to live with dignity and unchecked racial terrorism on freed slaves so that they had something to focus their anger for losing on.

AP AA studies are being singled out and treated differently from the rest of the AP courses. I don't think it would be that hard to show unequal treatment on the basis of race.

It's not that easy. PROVING discrimination is harder than you think because you have to establish the "but for" clause in many instances. They can nakedly say like DeSantis that the course "lacks educational merit" or discusses things against state law "like CRT etc" and ban it.
