So we're good with eugenics now?

I'd have to go dig them up but I remember seeing TONS of fellow professors refute the work of these gentlemen.

Even Jindal admitted the GOP is going to have to change its anti-science, anti-academia stances. Three guys who basically argue that black people are inherently inferior doesn't change that point. Rejecting racism draped in a few statistics doesn't equate to rejecting academic pursuits.

I think Camile's point is that telling researchers that they cannot study certain topics is the essence of anti-science and anti-academia. In his example those sentiments are coming from the left.

The left would argue just as strongly against studying the domestication of dinosaurs by pre-biblical flood humans. There are genuine academic pursuits and then there's bullshyt. You CAN study whatever you want, but expect a lot of criticism if you want to prove the earth is flat. Legitimacy is the issue here, not academic freedom.

... and democracy has always been a sh!tty system.:yeshrug:

it's for a scary or weak population.

It's more of a way to be controlled with the blissful fantasy that you somehow are influencing your oppression.

I am not sure what domesticated dinosaurs are but human genetics is a legitimate academic pursuit.

:heh:

Ok man we get it. You purposefully miss points and support scientists who try to prove that black folks are genetically inferior. I'm sure those completely legitimate academic pursuits will end up somewhere.
