Any interesting tidbit?
She promoting alternate ways of commutation though an Tablet to make it easier for autistic ppl to communicate. She started using it at 37 years old and believed if she started using it sooner ir would have had more doors open for her in life.

She felt different compared to other ppl throughout her life, from early on.

She has three kids, two of which are autistic too.

All the autistic parents she knows has kids who are autistic but don't speak, but her kids can talk.

The 7:56 mark is when race is bought up, kind of hard to summarize.

Advice she gives is try to not be angry online (advice for kids who just found out they are on the spectrum).

Try and network and meet as many autistic ppl as you can, of all ages and all races.

Video ends after that.

I have worked with plenty of people with

Aspergers and honestly they have a lot more common sense than some "normal" people. I had a guy with Aspergers last month ask if another fully functional adult male was "mentally challenged" (his words) because the guy couldn't catch on.

I was :dead:

People on the spectrum are hilarious to work with because some of them have absolutely NO filter :mjlol:

yeah for the most part they are fine, but i have seen them use their claims of being on the autism spectrum to try and get special treatment in the workplace and as an excuse for having bad manners/oversharing quite frankly.:unimpressed:

Seems like people with speech impedements and people who lack confidence are all placed under this "autistic" category. Knowledge of self is key. We all have different blockages based on our astrological programming. Somebody needs to take that tablet out of her hand and force her to speak, and give her positive reassurance. You would be suprised the "mental illnesses" that validation can cure:respect:
