Pick better be Brooklyn pick and Miami pick and a cavs pick for Drummond

Drummond isn't 6'8 like Tristan and actually a better rebounder by miles

Going to presume that the Miami pick is a 1st rd pick and that you'd want Cavs 1st rd pick as well. So, pretty much 3 #1s + TT for AD. Yeah, no.
I'd only give that much up (and more) for the AD from NO. Drummond ain't worth 3 # 1s and a key starter breh. No team in the league would make that deal. If a team were willing to make such a deal, I guarantee Drummond would have been dealt already.

The Brooklyn pick + TT + filler for salary purposes (Channing Frye) + maybe a second rounder for Drummond is sufficient. Just looked up Drummond's salary () and its so you'd have to include some filler to make it work salary wise .


To your second point, fair enough. He's also a worse FT shooter, the worst in the league in fact and is much more of an offensive liability than TT. He hasn't made any improvements to his offensive game at all and it seems like he's reached his ceiling on the defensive end. Couple that with his albatross contract and that's how a player like Drummond ends up being part of trade rumors to begin with.
