At 1st I was a bit
because I'm so used to channel surfing. Besides TNT for NBA games, I DVR pretty much everything and Hulu Plus had 90% of the sh*t I DVR plus some of the other shows I can stream on their website or get download. Copped an HD Antenna and am picking up better HD than I ever had with AT&T U-Verse. I scanned my TV and picked up like 33 local channels in HD. Chargers game was on CBS and HD was lookin
.
Between Hulu Plus, Netflix, HD Antenna, HBO GO and ESPN Stream (good to know someone with Comcast or ATT account
) and this App called Nowhere TV that picks up local channels as well, and uppin the Internet speed, I see no point going back to cable. I cut my bill over $100 between DVR, HD service, HBO, Cable subscription in general and now just using the Net. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for an alternative
There's other ones similar like Apple TV (that you can actually jailbreak) and Google Chromecast, but I like Roku overall the best.
