Lol if everybody likes it you're like fukk that shyt sucks.
Nah, it's not that cuz I love Waka, 21, Tha Weekend n Pnd when they were good, used to like Drake, so it's not just the fact the shyt popular.

It's the annoying ass fans constantly shoving the shyt down your throat, especially before I even knew who or what the fukk it even is...

For example, before I even know who the bytch was all id see or hear is ppl talking about that damn song Bodak.

So I FINALLY listen...and...for real...? This is the "SOTY GOAT ETC ETC" everyone pissing themselves over? Hell nah.
Same shyt wit GoT, that shyt didn't grab me at all and I'm an actual DnD playing nerd.

Nice job trying to troll but ....

1. We all know the labels set this up
2. She is trash. She was good when they didn’t try to get her to be the new Nicki
3. She clearly road the short yellow bus
4. She didn’t write bodak she is just an IG thot with a machine behind her

Feel free to add on

Ppl think she gonna win and they seem to be really behind her...but recent history of those with "blockbuster" singles tell me otherwise...plus her music, if u wanna classify it as such, really really sucks...but I'm a old head so the fact that she is even in this space is perplexing to me....

What does this even mean. Articulate it for me brehs.

The song was blowing the fukk up before the label did anything. It's a perfect example of Atlantic being sleep at the wheel while one of their artists released a smash hit; the other big example was Uzi's XO Tour Lif3. She's huge right now, whether people like it or not. The song was dominating clubs BEFORE the button got pushed, it was moving everywhere before that.

It really seems like a lot of people here don't talk to women or go to clubs, because there's this constant nonsense about labels making things happen and blah blah blah...when if you were paying attention last year you saw that song blow up the minute it dropped, and it kept going and going. Then when the label got non-ratchet white girls to hear it, it was a top 10 radio smash.

:russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::umad:

Cardi is funny, cardi is charasmaitic, cardi is NOT a talent musician in any way. I fukked with her last mixtape only because i thought she'd be improving from there. She doesnt have her own flow, style, she's the poor man's nicki. THE LABEL, Atlantic, will drop her like a fat bytch on a saturday once this hype dries up. I have friends who work in that building on 6th ave.................. part of Cardi's blow up (besides her ghostwritten hit, which will never be topped) was that she was the underdog, the people are beginning to turn on her and miss Nicki... honestly shes the best thing that happen for Nicki, she's the stunt double. Nicki just needs to execute

But to answer your question, the label puts artists in positions, award shows, ect, it's their job. Otherwise an indepenent artist would be doing the same thing. Not even Caclamore could do this.

while you run straight to the dance floor to rap Bodak Yellow verbatim, with the rest of the birds..
enjoying yourself and getting up on some ass in the club is being a bird nowadays.
