An environmental simulation based on the longitude/latitude position of the track is performed for real life tracks. For example, the Le Mans 24 hour race in the game will actually simulate the rise/setting hours of the sun and night-time constellations in the sky from the event in 2013.

This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content.

Why spend $500+ to play Forza when you can get the complete and unadulterated racing experience on the PS3??

And then it would just be a generic course. Now if I could drive around my city, it track that, then it use google maps/whatever to recreate my city identically? Then you talking.
What I will be playing is The Crew which does what I'm talking about on a smaller scale
Was considered extremely fun, and is next gen.

GT is boring, is rated low. But enjoy looking at the sky while you supposed to be paying attention to the hairpin turns.

Comparing Horizons to a proper a Forza game is like comparing Driveclub to Gran Turismo.
