A couple of months ago my Grandfather passed away at 88. He's not my father's biological father, he's my father's stepfather. My biological Grandfather is a gangster from Barbados, I don't know him too well so I always considered this other man my "real" Grandfather.

I live in Texas, my Grandmother owns a house here in Texas, but she took my Grandfather back to Florida (where most of my family lives) a couple of years ago because there would be more people around to help care for him. At least that's what she says her reason was for.

After he died, she went out with a few of my Aunts to make arrangements for the funeral. When they were choosing the casket, she said "I don't really care what they put his body in. I'm getting married again soon anyway." My Aunts thought that she was just saying that as a way to cope, but at the funeral she didn't cry and she hasn't mourned at all since his death.

A few weeks ago she came back to Texas with her "friend" Solomon, who she met back in the '70s. She has told my father that she plans to marry him next.

My little brother is only 10, and he doesn't even know that my Grandfather isn't even his biological Grandfather. My Grandfather was like a God to my brother, when he finds out Solomon is going to marry my Grandmother… :mjcry:

I'm in my feelings right now brehs, I don't even know what to think... :wow:

First man she was married to was a lawyer, she had two kids with him. He was abusive to her, but when he took it too far and hit her she shot him and killed him.

Then she married a dentist and had a kid with him. But she cheated on him with my biological Grandfather, who impregnated her TWICE and abandoned her with no fukks given.

The dentist divorced her after the second pregnancy and then she married my father's stepfather.

Now this new man is a respected Navy veteran. He was the Captain of a submarine. He worked with some of the first computers developed. He met the King of Jordan.

And my Grandmother has him running around town doing favors for her. :snoop:

I gotta give it up to my Grandmother. She either has some very good p*ssy or her game is on point, because her track record is just... :francis:

I don't blame her, she's been with someone for a long time, and she don't want to be lonely.

A lot of old folks usually die within a year off their spouse dying. Loneliness at that age is a killer.

:usure: But the thing is, she's always been the high maintenance type who likes to be taken care of.

Like I said a couple of posts above, she has the new guy running around doing errands for her while she sits at home and does nothing.

Even my Dad is like :yeshrug: "I'm not mad at him. But he's going to find out real soon what he's gotten himself into".

I don't think she's doing this out of "loneliness".

It makes sense, she never recovered from that traumatic event.

Exactly, someone is there. Like I said being alone at that age is a killer, when you used to having someone there with you.
