Grant was the better go to scorer....Pip was better on defense and passing.

Both would be very successful in today's league....

Grant hill was lebron without the insane athletic ability.

Grant in the league today is averaging a triple double IMO. Dude was averaged 10 rebounds (9.8) one year and had 2 other years at 9 a game. this is playing in a much slower pace with bigger bodies to contend with in the paint. Pistons weren't goosing him rebounds like OKC does with russy. He also averaged between 6.5-7 assist passing to a washed joe dumars, bison dele (r.ip) lyndsey hunter etc...

He also became a better 3pt shooter later in his career in phoenix, so assuming his ankle is healthy that shot develops earlier and he's giving this league 28-12-11 a night easily in his prime.

Pip.

Grant had an injury so people will run with his potential. Scottie actually showed out....and his offense was better than people give him credit for.

see this is the thing about Grant. he was so good but you have to build a team around him to make him more effective. Pippen on the other hand can easily be on any team and make it better.

for example imagine this lineup

Paul
Harden
Pippen or Hill?
Tucker
Capela

who would be a better fit between the two?

Grant is a first option guy in his prime, thats what you're alluding to but youre missjng the fact that he was just as good if not better playmaker than scottie. He averaged 7 assists during his prime years and was passing to guys no where near MJs talent level. Also pippen could focus more on defense being a #2 option. Grant toughness was better than Pippen, he had Alonzo mourning copping pleas.

Watching grant in college be #3 and #2 and #1 I can say be could play the background and be effective even on that's team you have

It's disgusting when people say "potential" like he was averaging 15 ppg and 5 assists
