(i did various things in Afghanistan and one was climbing towers in Afghanistan(in the city and on bases) to install various telcom equipment and troubleshoot LOS shots and etc.)
I became certified in Afghanistan but have to get certified in America
--this is a high paying
-various uses for this certification
-can work for cell phone companies
-register as a nationwide rescue climber
-become a independent climber and freelance
(i have a friend who only climbs on weekends and has another fulltime job)- dude makes 7-10K some weekends
this is a great add-on to an IT/telcom career
also if you like to work outdoors this gets you out the office
