Nah, I feel the same way too and I actually finished the game :bryan:

But I think I'm just overall done with JRPG as far as characters and story goes. Is the same old same old. And Lost Odyssey didn't help with the battle system :beli:

:whoa: have you played any of the Shin Megami Tensei games? I can't think of any jrpgs like them as far as story, atmosphere, and characters

Naw, but don't get me wrong there are some classic JRPGS with good unique stories but lately I haven't been checking for those games like that and the more big name ones let me down.

You should know Tales games never have good stories. They're all about the anime trope cast and battle systems. Most peoples enjoyment of Tales games rest on how much of the cast they like. The only character I didn't really care for in Vesperia was Karol and I found him tolerable.

I can't name a character in Graces I actually liked other than Pascal. the main character was annoying maybe his brother but he was an ahole. The sickly chick was annoying. The older captain guy I barely remember.

For the record I heard Xillia's cast is one of the better of the series.

Tales of the Abyss had a very good story, but the game dragged on for way too long.

Am I the only one who thought Lost Odyssey was boring as shyt? I didn't get very far at all.
Cause you probably got stuck at the first or 2nd boss :mjlol:

Lost odyssey is one of the best jrpgs since the mark of the millenium buddy :umad:

I never finished Lost Odyssey. I made it to the end of the second disc and stopped playing. I still own it and an Xbox 360 but never found the desire to finish. Jansen was the only good thing about the actual game to me. The stories you could read where better than the story of the game itself. The main character was boring and I didn't really care for the main villain either. I also remember there being some forced kids in the party.

I've found games people would likely say are worse than Lost Odyssey to be more entertaining than it. I finished Infinite Undiscovery, White Knight Chronicles, and Star Ocean 4 for example but couldn't bring myself to get past the half way point of Lost Odyssey.
