I know its a subjective question. I'm not asking personal classic that you admit isnt or an album you love. whats the last album to drop you consider a hip hop classic ??


In the last 5-7years theres been a ton of great albums dropped by nas by kendrick kanye even maybe alfredo as an album but CLASSIC? Astroworld? bandana? igor?

I was trying to rack my brain in another thread and im not sure.

There's no room for opinions when it comes to the classic status. An album is a classic if it meets one of the 4 criterias (doesn't need to meet them all...):

-Quality (usually critical acclaim)
-Impact
-Influence
-Timeless

Last album that will become a classic is probably GNX....universal acclaim and impact has been huge
