Please post a picture & short explanation as to why you believe your selections are the greatest American super hero and villain.

The characters with the most pictures posted will be awarded the win!

Sample post:
I pick Scott Summers from X Men. I've always related him having to put up with nikkas like Wolverine stealing all the shine while Scott is upholding the moral integrity of the team.

Being a leader is hard, Scott took over the X Men after Professor X died while battling to feds and bad guys. He kept the team together even if it hurt.

He also dated the loud screaming chick with the hair. He's disciplined and measured in his movements.

The GOAT villain because he just wanted chaos. He also tried to beat Batman by making him break his moral code because that would make him just as a bad as the Joker. The most punk rock villain ever.

The guilt the, belief that suffering builds character. DD has been my favorite American hero since I was kid.

The Grendel. I do believe that the spirit of man some at least is predation and that some people can become better than others. He also stalemated Batman and the Shadow.

Scott made a good villain too when he was possessed by the phoenix force. Dude is just all around awesome.

My favorite villain would probably be The Plutonian simply for that fact that he's a flawed, psychopathic Superman Analogue.
