As a Spurs fan, I legit felt physical pain in my stomach when i heard this news about his wife.

He is the last person to ever deserve this. They stayed together longer than they were ever apart

Just saw this! Poor Popovich. I had no idea his wife was ill. I wouldn't blame him for sitting the rest of the playoffs out. They pale in comparison to losing your love.

Nobody should ever bury a child or their most loved and cherished one. Life is unimaginably cruel some days, I only hope he finds peace and solace with his children and those that he loves and that love him. And that he keeps on as long as he wants to keep on.
