I trained in a basketball camp with Darrell Armstrong and a few of the AND1 players. Made a few tracks for industry artists, got something bubbling now hopefully I be able to tell ya'll brothers about it in a month or two.
I gave beats to Drake and the Cool Kids when they was on MySpace....:yeshrug:

Rochelle Aytes was my cousins best friend. Sleepovers as a kid type shyt. I can still picture how bony her legs were in her pajamas..LOL.. She's from Esplande Gardens in Harlem. I still got old pictures. I remember a point when we were kids where she hated my guts cuz I used to make jokes about how skinny she was. But we made up as teens. I was proud when she was the leading girl in the Beatnuts video "Off The Books." I remember thinking 'they got a Black girl to play a girl who looks hispanic." Thats when I started rooting for her success. When she did the movie White Girls and Madeas Family Reunion I thought she was about to Blow up Blow up. When my grandmother passed she acknowledged

Too many to name actually, humble brag but I feel blessed to have grown up where I did because I was surrounded by Black excellence. shyt was all around me. Like I knew from early on there was no alternative other than grinding and shining.

Jamal Lewis used to train round by my Moms crib, would see him running on the Speedsac in the park before school. Later on after he got in that trouble, the dude he snitched on was one of my patnas older brothers. Then when breh got out Jamal gave him a nice piece of change and he opened up a gym. They both was looking funny in the light after that one.

Dwight Howard grew up on my boys street, used to see him at his house hooping or sometimes at the Y. He was a lame then and he’s a lame now.

Would see Javaris Crittenton at that same Y too. He was one of them kids whose mom would drop him off at the gym every day. nikka was like an employee. Str8 latch key status. Actually feel bad for what happened to him, he was blessed in sports but he didn’t stand a chance in other areas. Probably a direct result of how he was raised.

Played a pick up game at that same gym with Cecil Newton. While we was playing some skinny ass kid with a red Afro was in the bleachers talking shyt. That skinny kid was Cecil’s younger brother Cam. Saw him a few years later at a HS game and that same skinny kid had a rocket for an arm

Had classes with Instagram model Sincerly Ward at the first HS I went to. Don’t know her like that but when I see her around she hugs and speaks.

Bobby Valentino went to that same school too, at that time he was locally famous from that Mista shyt, dudes was jealous and always hated on him tho. Actually felt bad for him.

Had a summer school class with Ahmad Carroll

Used to get my haircut in the West End at Killer Mike’s sisters barber shop. He would be in there a lot dropping gems to us young brehs. He gave me some money to go cross the street and grab a plate from QTime for him a couple times.

Went to Atlanta Metro College with Slim, breh who wifed up Vivica Fox back in the day. We was actually cool back then, when he wife up Viv I wasn’t even shocked. Breh always was on some game forward shyt

Used to stay a block over from TI uncle, on the street TI claims he from. His uncle had some pull over there, never saw or heard of Tip being over there tho:sas2:

Used to see Shawty Lo around everywhere as a git. Might see breh riding thru somewhere once a week. Lo always was in a new foreign, and back then brehs in the A wasn’t stunting like that, so he stuck out big time. Folks even made up a lie and said he had AIDS cuz he was fukking everybody baby mama. I saw dude pushing AMG in the 90s before anybody in the city even dreamed about rapping, can’t tell me he wasn’t really getting money.

Didn’t grow up with him but I had Andre 3000’s Social Studies book in 6th Grade. Went to the same middle school and first day of class when you writing your name on the front cover I look up 6-7 spots above mine and see Andre Lauren Benjamin. This was around the same time ATLiens had dropped, so Kast was the hottest thing in the city. nikkas tried to steal that book from me all year. :mjlol:

DC Young Fly and my gay homegirl grew up together, they thick as thieves. She might pull up and breh in the car like it’s nothing.

And there is actually more but I’m tired of writing. Lol. I’ll add later if I get a free minute.

The renowned stripper and anal enthusiast, Skrawberry is from my old hood, Le Juene Gardens in Carol City in Miami Gardens, FL.

We disliked each other because she use to try to fi’ up but I use to cook her ass. Come to find out she had a crush on my older brother. He never fukked. Bet he wish he did just to brag about it as an icebreaker.

Her younger sister ended up stripping as well but not for the noteriety.

Drake spitting over a Charlie Manson beat:wow:

I was making them bootleg Kanye West type beats ....

This was back in the Room for Improvement/Comeback Season days

I wasn't even a man yet...

Drake was trying to be some weird Little Brother type of rapper that had some type of pop sensibility....

nikka hit me back with one of those I am too good for you but I like your beat messages...

"Yeah, I'll hit you back with something, I like this..."

By the time So Far So Gone came out that motherfukker was too big...probably had all type of producers trying to hold on...

I would be show my homies..."I am friends with him, look he sent me a message..."

But they didn't watch Degrassi. :to:

A lot of producers that were on those Wale/Drake mixtapes didn't make it...:ld:

Bo1da made it though...:whew:

Yeah I remember he was into that soulful vibe with his music. The first song I heard from him was from myspace. He came a long way. I think he use to post his music on a message board back in the day too.

Yeah you right, i think Boi1da use to do beat battles online and then he won a few tournaments ones and industry cats started to reach out to him.

:mjlol: Jaz-O crashed at my OG mentor spot for a minute when he was on hard times. Would pull up to match a blunt with Unc and had to tip toe around in the basement cuz Jaz was down there sleep. Brought a chick by one time and she was like why this bum ass nikka sleep at 1pm? Unc had to check her on that one. Unc was an old school East NY OG, he knew pretty much anybody from NY down in the A making moves. Met a lot of real old school NY movers and shakers thru him. He knew Waka moms from NY and breh would be over there sometimes also. Tried to jump down on his sister once and almost bagged her. Waka was always a real humble but yet electric dude, you could tell even then that breh had that star factor.

:mjlol: Remember seeing Ciara back in the day popping that p*ssy at Sparkles skating rink. She was in a little dance group and they was at damn every house party/teen club from College Park to Clayco. That’s why I just :mjlol: when folks act like she not a ratchet from round the way. She went from booty shaking on the hood of Chevy Caprice to acting holier than thou on Instagram and these folk out here buying it:mjlol:

I was her stand in for Madea's Family Reunion - she was cool and so was Blair Underwood.
