I'm confused as to what it takes to please people like you.
You obviously have no experience with actual grassroots organic movements. It always starts with a bare handful of like minded individuals who have little to no funding or excess time but are determined to try and DO something about an issue. You don't have uniforms, training, fancy gear. You walk in with a will to change SOMETHING even if it's for 1 night.
Seeing other brothers try to discredit this initial effort is sad and bewildering because that's how every organic common cause was born and if we can't get support from our own, WTF is the point?
There's millions of MFs that can see and talk about a problem but there's only a handful that are willing to actually DO something. Get it together.
Nah. I've seen it in my own city. Had that neighborhood patrol going for a good couple of weekends until it fizzled out. Folks aren't willing to be weekend police long-term without compensation. Too much on the line. Someone catches a hot one to the shoulder, out of work for 2 months with no help. Curtains. You can call it cynical. I call it realistic.Disingenuous dumbass take
